Nusret Dziver, former Commander of a battalion based in Podorasac, said that Alispago came to the communications centre and that he used to see him during the day. As he said, Alispago informed them that he was Deputy Commander of Igman Operational Group.
Second State Prosecution witness Cazim Cibo also said that he saw Alispago in Podorasac on April 15 and that he went to a meeting in Bradina in the early evening and came back at around 9 p.m. According to the witness testimony, Alispago spent the night in Podorasac.
The witness said that indictee Nihad Bojadzics allegation that he was not present in Podorasac on April 15 and 16 at all was untrue. Bojadzic, former Deputy Commander of Zulfikar Unit of the Army of BiH, said that he bought something from the witness in his shop in Tarcin on April 16.
The Prosecution said that it invited these witnesses in order to deny the allegations by Bojadzics Defence.
Bojadzic is on trial, along with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, former members of Zulfikar Unit, and Senad Hakalovic, former member of the 45th Brigade of ABiH, for having committed crimes in Trusina on April 16, 1993. Alispago was originally one of the indictees in this case, but his case was separated from the others due to his illness.
Salko Gusic, former Commander of the Igman Operational Group, said that no communication system for sending documents had been established in Bradina in mid April 1993.
The witness was presented with a document issued on April 16, 1993, indicating that it was prepared in Bradina. The document was signed by Bojadzic and Alispago, among others.
One can see that it was sent via the communication system, he said, adding that it was indicated on the document that it was received at around 2.30 a.m.
According to his testimony, the nearest communication system spot for the commanding level was on Mount Igman.
He said that one needed at least two hours to travel from Bradina to that point.
Testifying in defence of Bojadzic at one of the previous hearings, Elvedin Ibrahimovic said that Bojadzic attended a meeting in Bradina on April 15 and he gave him a document at around 2.30 a.m., asking him to send it. The mentioned document was presented to witness Gusic at this hearing.
Gusics examination is due to continue on October 27.
